Baby Shower Gift

Topstitch paper meets a

9" x 9" My Creations Memory Showcase!

A friend of ours is having a baby, her fourth.  I wanted to make something special for her and the baby girl.

I put this together in about 5 hours using the Topstitch paper (retired), the Reflections (9031) how to book and various embellishments.  This is only my second one of these and I really like them!  Guess, I might be making more!

I used the Cricut to do the baby's name, retired colonial white ribbon and pink sparkles from the Red, Pink and Purple assortment (Z1326)

On this page I used the Mocha Opaques (Z1333) and a Just Blooms flower (Z1300) sprayed with our Spray pen (Z1380) filled with water, Vineyard Berry reinker (Z2257) and Create a Shade Pearl Paint (Z1039).

On this page I used Irresistable Eclectic Alphabet (z1395) Inked with Baby Pink ink (z2102) and the Pearl Opaques (Z1336).  I love the way the flowers made with the pearls came out!

The flowers and Corduroy brad I used on this page are retired, but oh so cute and made the layout, in my opinion.

A is for Abigail!  The A is a Dimensional Elements Monogram (Z1055) inked with Baby Pink and the hearts are also Dimensional Elements Hearts (Z1278) inked with Heavenly Blue (Z2126) and Baby Pink inks.  A little bling is added with the Pink Sparkles from the Red, Pink and Purple Assortment
One of the things Close to My Heart changed on our newest Idea Book was all the buttons.  They are so varied and cute!  Arranged by colors rather than our color family, makes it easy to get a variety of pinks without digging in several packages!  These buttons are from the Pink Assortment (z1370) and an old twilight button is on top of the center pink button!

Can you tell I am trying to use up some stash!?

I absolutely love this layout and it's simplicity!  All I added was some Chocolate ribbon (retired)!

Last but not least!  The final page with only buttons as embellishment!  I love the shine it adds, without making it busy!

This was really fun to make and was a joy to give!
