Layout Challenge Week #35

I recently needed a Mommy day or at least a Mommy hour or two.  I took a class at a local stamping store called Photofull.  I ended up with 21 pictures on this page.  Each photo stack that folds open has 5 pictures on it!
While I liked the class and how many pictures I fit on a page but I am not sure having to cut a hole in my page protectors for the pictures to be visible.  I think I might with my Flip Flaps!

Studio J Saturday!

Opening stocking was quite the delayed even this year.  With 2 kids and daddy at the homeless shelter and the other two home with me, we delayed opening stockings until everyone was home!

I love that with Studio J I could fit 17 pictures on this page and no reprints to get the right size!

No need for coming up with a title, Stickease had one ready for me I just had to drag and drop and resize to fit the page!

Lego Love

This paper was bought for our trip to Lego land and never used it because I did it in Studio J, so when I came to the pictures I knew exactly what to use!

There was really no place for the journaling so I wrote it up the "steps" of the Legos.  I had a blast making it and also entered it in the Child's Play Challenge.

Layout Challenge Week 34- The Best Gift EVER!

We got our boys a Monster truck for their birthday!  They deemed it the BEST GIFT EVER!  It was the hit of the party!

I was using up some really old before CTMH stash here!  The base pages are Kraft paper from CTMH and the Chocolate Striped Ribbon too!

The Make It From You Heart how to book is where the layout came from!  Love that compact little book with lots of ideas!

Studio J Saturday

Get ready for Mistletoe Madness!

I got on a mission this week to finish up Christmas from last year.  Christmas is not my favorite scrapbooking to do, which is why I do it in Studio J...faster, simpler, easier!

Mistletoe paper is retired and I loved it so I did this year's Christmas pages in it!  The title and embellishments are Stickease that I could place wherever I wanted, in whatever size I wanted!
I was able to group the pictures by kids to give it a more organized look!

I am thinking about starting a Studio J Club which would require you order an average of 4 layouts a month and as a reward you would earn $25 of select product credit once in a 6 month period.

Another way it could work is that you commit to ordering at least 24 layouts in a six month period and at the end of the six months you would get $25 of select product credit.

It would require 6 people to be a full club!

Let me know if you would be interested?

I love doing Halloween layouts and with 4 kids it is pretty much a requirement!  This paper is cute and works great for halloween but can really be used for many things!  The only paper that makes it specifically Halloween  is the swirly paper with owls on it!  So I would love to see what you create with this paper that isn't Halloween!  My card below is from Moonlight!

I got the sentiment from one of the stamps sets in the Artiste Cricut collection!  I also cut the Spider web from it and the circle that the pumpkin is stamped on! Perfect Fit -Halloweeen is the stamp set I used for the pumpkin!

The Perfect fit stamps are a great idea for many projects from cards to gifts to scrapbook pages! The circles can be cut with both Cricut Cartridges! Check them out below!

Layout Challenge Week 33

This layout is from the Make It From Your Heart Volume 1 how-to book, with my twist on it.

About Make It From Your Heart:

This softbound, affordable how-to publication features 16 two-page layout patterns, 2 single-page patterns, as well as 12 different card patterns. Inspired by Jeanette Lynton's Let Me Show You How® philosophy, the patterns are the same as those found in the Workshops on the Go® cardmaking and scrapbooking programs for 2012–2013. This publication highlights all-new artwork, technique ideas, and color palettes, conveniently bound in one volume for easy reference.

I have had fun playing with several of the new layouts and using them as is or adapting them to my pictures!

I used non-CTMH paper from my stash for this except for the Kraft paper in the background!

My favorite part of this layout is the title!  I always have a hard time with birthday and Christmas titles for unwrapping presents!  I found this Wrapture in my Inspiration Station book and then added the Unwrapped!

What have you been creating this week?

Pear and Partridge

Christmas?  Who can think about Christmas paper in August when it is over 100 degrees outside!? It was not hard with this cute paper!  I love the new stamp set Ornamental Cheer!  The shapes were cut on the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge!  CTMH is still producing product to coordinate with it even though we have a new cartridge!
Our new Silver Shimmer Trim is used on this card!  It is self adhesive and easy to use and add glimmer to any project you are working on!  I also used the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Ornamental Cheer stamp!

Looking forward to creating a Christmas card workshop with this paper as well as page layouts for a workshop too!

Sorry for the interesting photography!  Dakota is a fun new paper that can be used for a variety of things like Fourth of July, Country/outdoors pictures and boy pages!  What else can you think of that it can be used for?  I used the new Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut the Happy Birthday banner and the Happy Birthday oval below!
I really love this paper and can't wait to use it for more projects!

Scholastic papers are very versatile and fun!  I can see using them for school, Boy creations, even outdoor pictures!  I again used my favorite, the burlap ribbon, trimmed and the Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut the circle and then stamped the Good Luck!  The Good Luck came from one of my new favorite card making stamp sets Casual Expressions!
Banners seem to be everywhere and very trendy so I used one for the sentiment here and spruced it up with the half pinwheel on top and the cute star!  Love cards that are masculine, they are not always easy to make and sometimes harder even to find in the store!!

Make It From Your Heart® Volume 1 is our new How-to book!  This card is from a pattern in this book!  I used Clementine and the Artiste Cricut Cartridge and stamp set.

In the last Idea book, we came out with a new ribbon, the Color Ready Seam Binding Ribbon.  I had used it before but never colored it!  I just used the Twilight ink pad with a sponge and sponged until I got the color I wanted!  It dried quickly and matched perfectly!  Under the Seam Binding is the Burlap Ribbon that I trimmed smaller!  The flowers are the Just blooms Floret Shapes inked on the edges!  This paper was so fun and easy to work with!

Avonlea is one of my favorite new paper packs!  It seems like you could use it for many different things!  The Hi! is stamped with one of the Artiste Cricut cartridge and put on a piece of chipboard that comes with the cartridge!  The chipboard and stamp sets with this cartridge are really cute!
So I got the idea for this card from Vicki, she does such amazing work!  The Burlap Ribbon is one of my favorite new embellishments.   Honestly I thought, really Burlap Ribbon, who is going to like and want to buy that!  I have used it so much!  It is fun and very versatile!

La Belle Vie

This is a card I created at the CTMH convention with the new La Belle Vie papers!  The doilies are cut on the new Artiste Cricut Cartridge!  I used the Stamp set Pun Fun to stamp the dress!
This card is also the La Belle Vie paper.  I used a Just blooms Floret Paper Shapes  and

Mini-Medley Accents Antiqued Gold Collection button to dress up the card!

Layout Challenge Week 32

At the Majestic, a historic theater in San Antonio that is incredibly beautiful!  The Girls were there with Grandma and Grandpa to see the San Antonio Symphony and San Antonio Children's Choir perform.  I used Roxie papers, durables round, and sparkles!  The pewter circle was left from an old package of pewter embellishments!

Studio J Saturday

When you are using Studio J you can add a title or journaling box wherever you want it!   Both of the titles were stickease added where I had space for them!

The one on the left wasn't showing up very well so I added a text box under it and made the color vellum and then didn't write anything in it!

The second page I used the same stickease letters and tilted them to distribute them through the space I had better! Then I added the stickease cluster at the bottom and top of the title!
In case you are wondering why I have two pages that are April, I am making these pages for calendars!  The paper pack I used was Pemberly!  Love that paper!
