ABC Blog Hop - Quilted letter Q

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter Q.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever the crafter has chosen as their Q element will be featured in their post.

I have been making a quilt this week for our Life Group leader from our church.
She and her family are moving to Paraguay in less than two weeks and found out sometime this spring that she is pregnant and due in January. They are going to Paraguay to be missionaries and this pregnancy was not expected and not planned for in their budgeting!  If you would like to read more feel free to go to their website, God's Promise for Paraguay.

Why am I telling you all this?  That is where I got the idea for my card, a quilted card! I know long way to get there, sorry!

I have had this card pinned on Pinterest for a while and wanted to make it but just hadn't gotten there.  I used this tutorial to make it!  It was way easier than  I thought it would be!  Here is my version of it:

I used the Babycakes Paper pack, Happy Clusters stamp set (retired), Tan and Brown Sparkles assortment and my Cuttlebug.  After assembling the pinwheel part, I put it through my Cuttlebug to give it the quilted look!  Hope you enjoyed my card!  Enjoy your Quest through the rest of the blog hop!
