Photofull- tons of photos!

I take this class once a month at Stamp Antonio.  It is called Photoful and it is intended to help you get lots of photos on a two page layout without it looking cluttered!  I have 19 on this layout!  How you ask?  The photo on the bottom right is actually a flap and fold out!

It has 4 flaps that neatly fold into a pile and look like one photo.
Above is it with one flap folded up, below I folded one down.
 And one side out.

 All flaps unfolded!
The entired flap folds up to go outside your page protector!
It was such a fun layout that this is second one I made!  Below is the first one!
This is a great way to put all those trick or treating pictures on one page and not have to have 5 pages of trick or treating!

I used Huntington for the first layout and included a little bling with the Mocha Opaques.  The second layout was with the retired Moonlight and the title was cut using Artbooking!

Everything ABC Blog hop- Letter S

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter S.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever the crafter has chosen as their S element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Amber's  blog ~ Scrapper'sTherapy.  If you came from Lisa Kmiec ~ Lisa's Stamping and Scrapping Spot then you're on the right track!

S is for Style and Stamping.

A Uniquie Sense of Style is what my kids had in these pictures.  It was Mismatched clothes day at their school during Drug Free Week.

Just because they had interesting style doesn't mean my page shouldn't have style!  I used the Topstitch paper pack, in fact one of each patterned paper.I used the layout from the Reflections how-to book called Triple Play- Three of a Kind.  For the right page I just rotated the same layout.

My second S is Stamping.  I could have cut this title with my cricut but I thought it would be fun to vary the fonts and sizes so I decided to grab three stamp sets and vary it that way.  The stamp sets I used were  Polka Dot, Charm Uppercase and Classic Caps, the second two are retired.
The tag I used to journal on was cut with the Art Philosophy Cartridge.  The flowers are retired and I added a little bling to their centers with Opaque Mocha Adhesive Gems.  The ribbon and the metal ribbon holders are retired also.
My final S is Stash, as in use your stash!  I made a goal a year or so age to use my stash before buying or using a new paper pack or embellishment.  So many of my supplies are retired but are mixed with newer supplies!  Using your stash is very rewarding to see those supplies dwindle but it also makes it so that you can buy new when it calls your name!

Everything ABC Blog Hop- Letter R

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter R.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever the crafter has chosen as their R element will be featured in their post.

My R is the title, reJOYcing in the Rain!
I have two sets of twins and do 2 books for them, one for my girls and one for my boys.  Most of the time I do not make many layouts almost exactly the same!  I vary them so I don't get bored!  This day though I just wanted to create and get it done quick so it is the same layout, the same title and even the same Journaling, the only difference was paper and one picture and some picture placement!
I really like the way the layouts turned out!  I used the Pattern 4 from the Make it from Your Heart volume 2 book.  I did have to alter it a little to work with my photos.  The photos on the left I made taller and the photos on the right were supposed to be one photo and I enlarged that mat a little to accommodate my 4 photos.
The title was funny, I thought about several different titles and the quote I put on the water droplet inspired the title.  We have little rain here in SouthTexas in the summer and when we get a good rain like this one my kids are usually out playing in it!  We were truly rejoicing in the rain, to make it more obvious that we were getting JOY from it, I misspelled the word reJoOYcing to emphasize the JOY and made it all caps among the lower case!  It was a joy to get a little outside the spelling box to express the true feeling of the day!

The top layout was made from Pemberly papers and the bottom was a promotion called You and Me.  Pemberly is still available in Studio J!

S'mores

I don't often buy paper at scrapping stores or craft stores but I saw this s'mores paper and had to get it.  Every time my kids go camping with their grandparents, s'mores are usually involved and I have trained my family to take pictures when I am not there!

This was my parents first big trip with their new camper!  The boys got to ride back from New York to Texas with them and one night they had a campfire and...of course s'mores!  Out came my fun paper and a little Cranberry and Dutch Blue (retired) and a simple but great page was made!  I knew I needed more above and below the pictures so I added journaling and the Yum which is made from the Color-Ready Canvas Alphabet with some Cranberry ink!  The brackets were from a retired embellishment pack called Milepost embellishments and were actually a frame that I cut in half and repurposed!  Love using my stash!
