Everything ABC Blog hop- Letter S

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter S.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever the crafter has chosen as their S element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Amber's  blog ~ Scrapper'sTherapy.  If you came from Lisa Kmiec ~ Lisa's Stamping and Scrapping Spot then you're on the right track!

S is for Style and Stamping.

A Uniquie Sense of Style is what my kids had in these pictures.  It was Mismatched clothes day at their school during Drug Free Week.

Just because they had interesting style doesn't mean my page shouldn't have style!  I used the Topstitch paper pack, in fact one of each patterned paper.I used the layout from the Reflections how-to book called Triple Play- Three of a Kind.  For the right page I just rotated the same layout.

My second S is Stamping.  I could have cut this title with my cricut but I thought it would be fun to vary the fonts and sizes so I decided to grab three stamp sets and vary it that way.  The stamp sets I used were  Polka Dot, Charm Uppercase and Classic Caps, the second two are retired.
The tag I used to journal on was cut with the Art Philosophy Cartridge.  The flowers are retired and I added a little bling to their centers with Opaque Mocha Adhesive Gems.  The ribbon and the metal ribbon holders are retired also.
My final S is Stash, as in use your stash!  I made a goal a year or so age to use my stash before buying or using a new paper pack or embellishment.  So many of my supplies are retired but are mixed with newer supplies!  Using your stash is very rewarding to see those supplies dwindle but it also makes it so that you can buy new when it calls your name!

Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is Shelly Nemitz ~ Just One Piece .

  3. What a fun layout! The different alphabets on the title and the random placement of the letters adds lots of energy to the layout, and the Topstitch papers are adorable. Great goal of using up your stash, too.
