Baby Arrival Tags

Our former Life Group leaders are now missionaries in Paraguay and are expecting their third child in January.  Rebecca just recently found out it is a tradition there that the mother have something to give people who come visit her in the hospital that has the baby vital info on it.  She has limited income and resources to create something because of no craft stores.  So I offered a couple of things:  I offered to make a tag that she could attach to the gift  and a little box to put a gift in.  Because of shipping limitations she asked that I make a tag for her.

Knowing that I would not want to be handwriting the date, name, weight and length on 50 tags I tried to think of a way to make it a little easier for her.  In my stash of retired Stamp of the Month I found a stamp that you could just circle the month and date!  Perfect!

I made several samples and sent them to her, this is what she chose!
I was able to use a perfect baby pink which is retired paper and the buttercup for the center, all of which was cut using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge!  I also used Bubblegum ink and added a hole on one petal and a baker's twine hanger for the tag.  I love the way they turned out and hope she does too!  Can't wait to see pictures of the little one!
Because this baby was a bit unexpected they had not planned for her financially so if you would like to learn more about what they are doing or support them please visit their page here!
