Run for Phil

My friend, Sara's husband was diagnosed with ALS, Lou Gehrig's Disease in January of 2013.  These are pictures from a run in May of 2013 to raise money for his medical care!   He has since gone on to be with the Lord, healed and probably giving holy hairy kisses out in heaven!

It was fun to choose a challenging sketch to make this page out of.  I wanted it to be special for a very important occasion.  I used the Proplayer paper and assortment and the Artiste Cricut cartridge to create this page.

The layout was an inspiration from Pinterest.

The zip strips came in handy to cover my not so perfect seams in paper! They were used by the R andH in Run 4 Phil.  The sun was actually a sun from the  Artiste Cricut cartridge  that I stretched a little in Cricut Craft Room and then cut in half, the title was also cut on  Artiste Cricut cartridge.
It was fun to use the sunshine for the journaling!  I also used a silver pen and journaled a little on the blue by the pictures!
Come back for the New Product Blog Hop starting tomorrow!
