Evidently I have been remiss in finishing showing you my cards I made for each paper pack!
This is Snowhaven and one of the papers reminds me of ski sweaters which of course makes me think winter but there are some very versatile papers in this pack also!
I created the card below to demonstrate that exact thing!  This card doesn't look wintery at all and would be a fine wedding card! The Silver Sequins in the center and the tiny bit of Black Shimmer Trim make this card special! Oh and we can't forget the Bitty Sparkles next to the sentiment, which comes from the Banner Wishes Stamp set!  The paper I stamped the sentiment on was a leftover piece from some miscellaneous project and was cut with the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge!

The card below was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest! I did struggle a little with this card until I added the Silver Glitter paper under the blue print, then I loved it!  The snowflakes that were used as flames on the candles were actually from the American Celebration Stamp! White Daisy Pigment ink was used to make it pop off the dark background and gold gems from the Bling Gems Gold Assortment.  The sentiment  is from the Ornamental Cheer stamp set.
Don't forget time is running out to get the Picture Perfection Special and the very cute Owl- What a Hoot Stamp of the month! Shop Now to take advantage of these awesome deals!

Card Cafe

Card Cafe- what is that you ask?

Well, if you have done my card buffets in the past when I had about 10 cards out and you could make as many as you want for a certain amount per card….it is kind of like that but NOT!

Clear as mud right!?

I will have 10-15 cards in bins/bags that will have all the paper, stamps and embellishments in it to make that card.  You choose your card and get the ink and blocks on the instructions and go to your seat and make that card.

When you finish you return the bag/bin and blocks and ink and choose a new card and repeat for 2 hours. For up to 5 cards it is $10, for more than 5 cards it is $15.  Let me know if you plan to come (just so I am sure to have enough spots set up!  No need to pay until the end of the Card Cafe!

This will be a monthly event.  Each month there will additional new cards and some will go away.

The first Card Cafe is

Thursday, September 18
10 am -12 noon
7pm - 9 pm

So this is one of the cards you could make!  Laughing Lola for Throwback Thursday (something old) and the Damask embossing folder , Gold Shimmer Trim and Bling Gems in Gold and Hello from the Have a Happy Day stamp set are terrific new products!

I also entered this card in the Southern Girls Challenge to use texture and 4 Crafty Chicks Something Old/Something New Challenge.

Back to School with Chalk It Up!

Chalk It Up is a very cute and versatile paper pack!

While it is great for school projects It could also be used for many other things!  There is only one, maybe two pages that are specifically school!

In these cards the left one is intended to be a thank you for a teacher or someone school related but the right one is really quite generic in who it could be given to, the prints are fun and graphic!
On the card above I used the stars from the Scaredy Cat Assortment and the Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut the "apple".  Ok, so it really was a cherry and I changed it a little and cut off most of the stem!  I used our Chalk Marker and White Daisy ink on the Thank You from the Have a Happy Day stamp set! Because the White Daisy Ink is a pigment ink it looks a lot like chalk on Black cardstock.
I love the simplicity of this card!  I just cut half inch strips and stuck them on at a diagonal and trimmed off the edges.  Black stars from the Scaredy Cat Assortment and White Enamel Stars that are a packet of embellishments added a bit of whimsy to the card!  The You're the Best sentiment comes from the Banner Wishes stamp set!

I will be posting the Chalk It Up Layout class tomorrow so stay tuned!

Happy Birthday

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #69 was the sketch below. little red wagon and sketches4all and Card Mania all had birthday challenges so I wanted a birthday card too!
I really didn't want to do flowers for this sketch and I only had what I brought on vacation with me.  Chalk It Up is on my agenda for our trip, so I had the Great Job stamp set with me.
Great Job
It seemed perfect for the sketch, so I stamped it directly on the base with Black ink.  At that point, I think I lost my mind and decided to stamp it on the polka dot paper from Confetti Wishes and fussy cut strips to accent the entire stamp! It seemed a little blah so I added the Honey stars to spice it up a bit!  As the finishing touch I added, Purple Glitter Gems, because no card is complete without bling!
The stars are all popped up with 3-D Foam Tape which really helped emphasize the stars!
The Happy Birthday was stamped with the Circus Alphabet which was a former Stamp of the Month!  I stamped and fussy cut the beginning letters of each word!
