Throwback Thursday- Music Camp

Step Right Up and see a page from Music camp!  I used Fanfare which is retired but still available in Studio J!  It was perfect with the colors of the circus backdrop.

The stars were a perfect embellishment for these pages and I just cut them out of the paper and pop dotted them!

Cricut Craft Room was great to help with the title and welding it together with the alphabet from Art Philosophy!

Pathfinding Layout Class Layout #2

This was the funnest layout to make!  I started with the idea of the pumpkin and then searched for a layout to suit my pictures and the pumpkin!

The Art Philosophy and Artbooking Cricut Cartridges were invaluable in making this layout!  The Cricut Craftroom made it easy to weld the Artbooking letters together to make the title easier to attach as well as more fluid!

Don't you just love this layout! Sign up for the class on November 15 at 10 am to make your own adorable pumpkin layout! Added time to make these adorable layouts is November 19 at 9:30 which is a Wednesday morning!

Time is running out!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #79

Being part of the Atlantic Hearts Design team has certainly pushed me outside my box sometimes. This sketch was difficult for me and I had to think a little differently. It was the flowers on the background that somehow threw me.  I think it was because I was planning on using the October Stamp of the Month and the Bear image.
That bear image didn't seem to lend itself to this sketch and I had to rethink my plan.
So instead I used the candy as the flowers and the Home for the Holidays house stamp and love the way it turned out!
Snowhaven was the perfect paper to go with the stamp set all it needed was a little bling!
Black Shimmer Trim and Sparkles were great compliments but the Red Enamel Hearts there the true finishing touch!  I put it right over the stamped heart and it made the Home for the Holidays pop!
The Home for the Holidays is raised with our 3-D tape bringing it to your attention!

There are only a few days left to get this stamp set before it is gone forever!  Also if you purchase $50 of product to get the stamp set for a mere $5 you will also get a roll of ribbon free!
They have run out of the chevron ribbon but are replacing it with other ribbon!  Isn't that awesome especially since it was supposed to be while supplies last!  Close to My Heart is such a great company!

Head over the the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and create your own creation from this sketch!

The Everything ABC Blog Hop- Letter V

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter V.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever  the crafter has chosen as their V element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you are at the beginning!

V is for Vase and my vase came from the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, in fact it is from the letter V page!
I cut the vase and flowers out of a scrap of the Brushed paper and the sentiment is the retired Buttercup paper backed with Sky (retired but very similar to Glacier).  The base of the card is Garden Green, retired, and the insert is Indian Corn Blue. The base was cut from our new Artfully Sent Cartridge  on page 30 Using the Sleeve feature and and shift Envelope 1 and cut at a height of 7 and width of 10.

Basically the entire card except the base was made from scraps!  Designing the card started in Cricut Craft Room to get the right sizing of the vase and flowers for the opening on the card front.  Then I found the with Sympathy Sentiment on The Artfully Sent Cartridge on page 16 and you use the icon key and y for the With Sympathy.

It took me longer to figure out what I wanted to do than to actually do it!  It was so quick and easy and a great way to use scraps!

Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is Catherine Nowak - Catscrapbooking.

Here is the complete lineup in case you get lost along the way :)

Throwback Thursday- Face-tastic

Dream Pop was a promotion a couple years ago and I have lots of leftovers.  For my kids I have 2 different scrapbooks, a girl one and a boy one. So I did a boy version of the layout and girl version!
The title is cut with the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge that I welded together with the Cricut Craft Room.

The bases of the second page have glossy accents and are similar to our Paper Fundamentals which have glossy accents on one side and the same pattern on both sides!

Scaredy Cat Dog?

My kids begged for this outfit for the dog.  So of course I had to take pictures!

The leftovers of paper from the Scaredy Cat Layout Class were perfect to make this page! I used Thistle card stock for the background!  The spider web cut with the Artbooking Cricut cartridge was left from the workshop as were the Complements Boo, stars and sentiment (I want Candy!).

I cut the biggest circle with the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge possible in the dot/argyle paper from Scaredy Cat and divided it in half with a zip strip with bats on it. Trimmed my photos to 3 x 5 to make more of the spiderweb visible and matted them in the stripe and the Sunset!

I also added a few bling, our Sparkles, because everything is better with bling!  or is that bacon? Hmmm, I think both!

little red wagon has a challenge right now to do something Halloween, spooky, not much of a fan of spooky but it is definitely Halloween.

Scrap & Play Challenge #12 was to create something spooky too!
