Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #83

The very first thing I thought of when I saw this sketch on Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge was a couple of different shapes on the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge that would work for the background part of the sketch.

So I of course went in search on Cricut Craft Room.  Both shapes were photo mats that I altered a little in Cricut Craft to fit on the card!

I used the Photo Mat 2 on this page (middle left)
and came up with this card using Snowhaven and our m-sized Single Snowflake and Black and Gray Epoxy Bubbles and a little Silver Geometric Washi tape.

I used the Photo Mat 1 using the shift (top right corner) on this one

and had lots of fun creating this!

Be sure to check out the other Design team members projects  on Wednesday and create one of your own!

The Everything ABC Blog Hop- Letter X

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter X.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever  the crafter has chosen as their X element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you are at the beginning!

I had a an eXtremely fun trip to NYC until Wednesday of this week and it put me in an eXtraordinary position of being eXtra behind! So here is my eXample of Random Stamping that I planned to make into a project but well, it just didn't happen!  I will get one made an posted hopefully later today!

Using the Stamp of the Month for November that is only available for this month, I used Cranberry, New England Ivy, Sweet Leaf and Desert Sand to create this paper.

I started with the biggest stamp and did second generation stamping with Cranberry.  I worked in somewhat of a triangular pattern.  This helps you get an over all pattern that is more evenly distributed.  Then I went back and added the circles in first generation Cranberry as well as the smaller flowers.
Above is my scratch paper that did the eXtra stamping on before I stamped the second Generation on the page.!
Then I started adding more of the smaller elements in Sweet Leaf and New England Ivy.
Continuing to add more until I was satisfied with the eXcellent patterned paper I had made!

Above is the Stamp of the Month set, finished product and the inks :)

The fun thing was I also used this color combo from CTMH because I looked at my Pinterest Board and found this combo!

I am very happy with the finished paper and can't wait to make a project with it to  share with you! njoy the rest of the hop!

November Special

Where else can you make a two page layout for $5?  It is complete with no mess and no dragging things out and no clean up!  It requires no creativitiy though you can get as creative as you want including creating your own layouts in another program and uploading them! In Studio J of course!

There is NO COST until you order a layout!  You can play and create all you want and never spend a dime!

There are great tutorials out there to help OR schedule a lesson with me to learn how!  It really is as easy as you want it to be with pre made layouts or as complicated as you want!

Loads of paper choices, embellishments that are unlimited, Alphabets that never run out of letters!

November marks the five-year anniversary of Studio J®, and that means it’s your lucky month, with five amazing ways to win through Studio J and Close To My Heart social media!
First, throughout the month of November, all layouts purchased in Studio J are $5! That is a savings of over 25% off of retail!
Your second chance to win big must come by sheer luck: every fifth order placed in Studio J during November receives a FREE surprise Close To My Heart accessory in its shipping box! The accessory has a retail value of $5 or more.
If luck doesn’t smile on you in that way, you might stumble upon it by finding a little extra something in your Studio J box. Five “golden tickets” will be sent out during the month of November with randomly selected Studio J print orders! This “golden ticket” is redeemable for one of Close To My Heart’s new D-ring albums* loaded with 10 Top Load Memory Protectors™.
For a fourth way to win, simply create new, gorgeous layouts in Studio J, select your favorites, and then post pictures of them on Close To My Heart’s Facebook page using the hashtag #ctmhlucky5. After November 30, five lucky winners will be selected from the entries based on their artistry and creativity and each of these winners will receive their own D-ring album loaded with 10 Top Load Memory Protectors!
And there is one last way to win: take your new Studio J artwork and post a picture of it on Instagram using the hashtag #ctmhlucky5. Just as it is with Facebook, after November 30, five lucky winners will be selected from the entries to receive their own D-ring album loaded with 10 Top Load Memory Protectors!
