I saw this sketch and immediately thought scrapbook page not a card but I am generally not a one photo on a page type of girl. When I was moving things, ehem, piles around in my craft room and saw our Christmas letter sitting there and wondered if I could make it work! I let it percolate in my head all day and then pulled out the Pear and Partridge paper from a couple of Christmases ago and made this page in about 15 minutes!
The retired Cranberry Chevron ribbon was a perfect compliment to the Pear and Partridge paper. made a faux bow using glue dots so it wasn't so thick! We have Cranberry Striped Twill Ribbon now that would have worked just as well , if I had had any!
For the sentiment at the bottom I used a zip strip and matted it on a small piece of New England Ivy and made banner ends to complete the look!
I love using the sketch in a different way! I would love to see what you do with it! Join us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge this week!
