Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #101

I was looking at the cards from last week's sketch and loved the techinique Dawn Montgano used on her card which was faux tile technique. Doing a little research I found out how to do the technique and thought it would be great for this week's sketch.
I scored the cardstock first and then stamped with the Pirouette stamp in  Indian Corn Blue Ink.   Using a mask I inked the edges of the tile with a Finger Dauber and Indian Corn Blue Ink.  Matting it in Outdoor Denim seemed to make the tiling pop even more!  I stamped the With Sympathy from the Sincere Expressions stamp set in Indian Corn Blue and layered it with Outdoor Denim.

For a little extra pop I added Blue and Green Epoxy Bubbles!

Be sure to check out all the Design Team creations at the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge tomorrow and join the challenge too!  I would love to hear what you think, so leave me some love!

The Everything ABC Blog Hop- Letter G

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter G.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever  the crafter has chosen as their G element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you are at the beginning!

Guess what!?  We are on letter G and gee I almost forgot!  Fortunately, last night was my daughters' birthday and I had made these Gifts or Goddies for their Guests!  They are having a movie themed birthday so we have movie themed snacks for their Gifts!
I just wrapped a 1.25 by 12 inch band around the Milk Duds and the popcorn package and adhered it.  Then I had cut the layered stars from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and the names from the Artbooking Alphabet.

The names I welded in the Cricut Design Space but you could also do the same thing in Cricut Craft Room.  It made it much easier to attach them!  Just run them through the Xyron and stick them on the stars!
Please consider leaving a comment because we all enjoy encouragement!  Enjoy the remainder of the hop!

Happy Crafting!

I love changing the card sketches into page challenges!  I have a hard time when I can only see one photo on it though because I rarely have a page with just one photo!

This one though worked out just perfect!  Only one photo of my son at the chiropractor and it is adorable!

I found the shape to mat it on in Art Philosophy and then changed it to fit me photo in Cricut Design Space! The santa hats were some random cartridge on Design Space that I had free access to because I just bought my Cricut Explore.

The rest is all just a background and texture paper from Yuletide Carol paper pack!  Because it was so beautiful without anything on it, I had a hard time figuring out how to use it and still have the stockings and the cardinal showing!  This sketch was perfect for the paper and picture!!

Be sure and leave a comment to be able to be in the drawing for blog candy!
