The Everything ABC Blog Hop - Letter I

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter I.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever  the crafter has chosen as their I element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you are at the beginning!

My I is Isabel.  Friends of ours moved to Paraguay while she was pregnant. We really miss them and this picture is the only one I have from when their daughter, Isabel was born.

I looked for a paper to go with the picture and ran across the old retired paper called Topstitch that seemed to be perfect. In the pack of paper I found the coordinating suede flowers. Also retired products I used were the metal flowers and white ric-rac ribbon.

The lacy shape near the top right was cut with the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.  To the left of the lacy cut is a Picture My Life card that I cut and used just a portion of.

A challenge inspired my page. The Scrap Our Stash Challenge for April which used this sketch

and you need to use one thing for each letter of the word STAMP.
S- Suede Flowers
T-Topstitch paper from CTMH
A-Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge-Tree 1 cut (lacy shape near the top
M-Metal flowers in the centers of the suede flowers
P-Picture My Life Card- tucked in at the top of the picture

Doing this challenge was fun and made me go outside my box and use things I wouldn't use on a page and digging in my stash and finding forgotten treasures.

Have fun hopping through the rest of the I posts!
