Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #131

I won some retried Halloween paper a while back at a Close to My Heart team meeting and decided to pull it out for this super adorable skeleton card!

Little Monsters is a fun stamp set and the skeleton was great for the Adhesive Springs  I wanted to use! The Thick Twine in Poppy and Silver Sequins to bling it up a bit and tag cut from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.
The Adhesive Springs are lots of fun to play with, especially with this skeleton head!  It is so cute! It worked so well with the sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge too!

Join us at the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and share your interpretation of the sketch!

The Everything ABC Blog Hop - Letter V

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter V.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever  the crafter has chosen as their V element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you are at the beginning!

Letter V on the Artistry Cricut Cartridge has the kite I used on this super simple page with seriously Vintage Close to My Heart paper, Bella!

Notice on the top right is the kite I used is two pieces the bottom layer I did in HollyHock and the top is patterned paper from the Bella paper pack.

So to cut this on a Expression you would have to do Icon 2>V for the Background color and Icon2>shift >V for the overlay portion!

This was a fun easy page that let the pictures & embellishments tell the story!

Hope you enjoyed my V & hop on through to see what everyone else did!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #129

I am using this card for an upcoming Card Cafe on October 22!  Watch for more info soon!

Using the Sangria paper scraps from my upcoming Sangria Layout Class.

My original thought was to do a Unique Christmas card but I am not ready to do Christmas yet!

So I thought of this cute pumpkin stamp set, that is retired, Thankful Heart Holiday.  I stamped the background in Sunset and the words in Chocolate.  The stem and leaf are stamped in the new color Fern!

For a final touch of bling I added the Enamel and Glitter Duos Green Triangles.

Join us over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #129 and share your interpretation!

Nevermore

Nevermore

I had a lot of fun with these cards!  I really wanted to show that though Nevermore is a Halloween paper that it could be used for more than Halloween!

Using the Fallen Leaves stamp set and Black ink and stamping on the grey patterned paper and fussy cutting them.   I also added the Eggplant leaf for a pop of color!

The tag is hand cut and the cute bow is from our retired Black Hemp, I could have used our Thicker Twine which is equally as fabulous and has lots of color choices!!

Now on to Halloween!
Using the oh so fun, Little Monsters stamp set and White Daisy Pigment ink i stamp the Mummy on the Black paper making it look spooky cute!
The rest was super simple with papers from the Nevermore paper pack cut in rectangles and two Enamel and Glitter Duo Green Triangles for a little sparkle!

I am also entering this in the Can You Case It Challenge - Anything Halloween

The Everything ABC Blog Hop- Letter U

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter U.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever  the crafter has chosen as their U element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you are at the beginning!

I went to a retreat last month and made the perfect page for U!  It is a playing in the rain page and I used Upside down Umbrellas to make a border for my page!  I absolutely love the way it turned out too!

The paper is all cardstock except the Underneath part of the Umbrellas are from the retired Jubilee paper.

The Umbrellas are cut with Pacifica Paper and the underneath is Jubilee patterned paper. The Umbrellas were cut using the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge. I did trim off the handles with scissors!

The title was cut with the New Artistry Cricut cartridge and welded together in the Cricut Design Space.

The clouds were cut with the Artiste Cricut cartridge and coordinate with the Rain or Shine stamp set that I stamped them with!  The raindrop border I made in the Design Space using a single raindrop from the Artistry Cartridge and copy and pasting it and welding it into a border.

Throwback Thursday- As for Me and My House

Using my stash is a goal I set several years ago.  Dotty was a promotional paper pack from several years ago that I bought several too many of because I loved the colors!

Fast forward to now and I used it to make this page with is from our How-to book Cherish and is called Golden Section.  Changing it up by turning the circles into squares and turning them on end created a whole new look!

The font is from the Cricut Artiste cartridge and was welded in the Design Space to make it easier to adhere to the page.

The photos are of my church Life Group's kids doing a craft about the verse, as for me and my house we will serve the Lord from Joshua 24:15.  They were making their family and decorating their house.
