This Atlantic Sketch Challenge was easy for me to decide I wanted to do a layout but the picture was an issue. I made a goal a couple of years ago that I haven't finished, to put title pages and finish all the albums have have started.
This goal made me grab the next album and then look up November 2011. This picture is probably the last picture we have with my family and my Mother In Law. She has Alzheimers which makes it hard for my kids to visit her because they hardly knew her before she was sick.
Finding a paper to go with all the different colors in the picture but I am really happy with how it turned out! Using scraps leftover from the retired Clementine paper including the leather look paper and a little Twilight cardstock that I inked with Outdoor Denim and Twilight and then sanded.
The final touch was a stamped image from the retired Clemetine Workshop on the Go stamp set. I used Creme Brûlée for the base and Sorbet for the second layer. To add a little bling I used Sequins from the Coral Reef Sequins (while supplies last) and another retired pack of sequins.
