Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #137

I am not sure why but this sketch spoke stars to me!  So I ended up with a patriotic card in December!

The colors used were Sapphire, Ruby and Silver Glitter paper on a White Daisy card base with two Enamel Stars in white at the bottom and Silver and Red Shimmer Trim for even more bling!

The Cricut Design Space allowed me to cut the Sapphire paper with the stars on it!  I sliced the stars out of the rectangle shape. The stars are from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.

Join us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenges and share your version of the Sketch #137.

Everything Abc Blog Hop - Letter Y

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter Y.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever  the crafter has chosen as their Y element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, you are at the beginning!

My Y is Year as in Happy New Year! I got the idea for this card from Donna's card.  I used left over paper from the retired For Always paper and Snowhaven.

The snowflake and champagne glass are from the Artistry Cricut Cartridge.  The sparkle in the center of the snowflake is from the Sparkles Black & Grey Assortment.

The shape behind the black glitter champagne glass is from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge!  The black glitter paper is from the Black and Grey Glitter Paper pack which cuts easily on the Cricut!  On the Explore, I use the custom setting of glitter paper 0.6 mm.

I used the November Stamp of the Month for the Happy New Year and the ribbon was from my old stash. Be sure to check out this month's Stamp of the Month!

Be sure to explore the other Y's!
