Base and Bling Necklace and Card- Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #143

The sticker for this necklace has been sitting on my table since October.  I got it at a Close to My Heart event and just hadn't used it yet.  The sketch made me think of a necklace so I decided to make one with the sticker!

The paper is scraps of Kaleidoscope including the zip strip!  The stamp is So Many Smiles and is really fun and versatile!

The Everything ABC Blog Hop- Letter B

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter B.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever  the crafter has chosen as their B element will be featured in their post.

If you came from Catherine Nowak then you're on the right track!

I made this page as a companion to the page below!  I found pictures after I had done the bottom page form the girls' Birthday, so my B is Birthday!

I used the Tickled Pink paper pack that was a long ago promotion.   The pack also included flowers and a stamp set to match the precut flowers.  Try as i might I couldn't find that stamp set so I just inked the layers with Cotton Candy, Blush (retired), Sweet Leaf and Crystal Blue and a Round Sponge.

The sketch I used to inspire me was this one, which I used and inspiration and then went a little nuts with!

I hope you will continue hopping through the rest of the B's!

Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S blog Hop is Lauren Moore - CTMH Craftings.

The the complete lineup is on Catherine Nowak  in case you get lost along the way :)

PhotoFull and Money $aving Sketches

Thursday, January 12 at 10am-noon
We will be using Tami's Sketches to teach these classes at my home with her permission! $8 PER class In Money $aving $ketches, you'll get a "sketch", basically a template and cutting guide, for not one but TWO - 12 X 12 double page layouts. Layouts are quick and easy plus Money $aving too! These $ketches are designed to not only hold a good amount of larger size photos, but to also S-T-R-E-T-C-H your supplies as far as they can go. Each month's "sketch" will be different, but the premise will remain the same... take one set of supplies, cut them according to the sketch, and suddenly you have 2 scrapbook layouts DONE! The PhotoFULL class features a "sketch", basically a template and cutting guide, for a different 2 page 12 X 12 layout AND a different technique on how to get MORE photos on YOUR pages! Pockets, flaps and flips OH MY! If you have STACKS of photos from Birthdays, Easter, Christmas, Graduation, Wedding or any other theme laying around that you are dreading doing because you have SO many pictures, come give this class a try and find out how to get them scrapped QUICK! The techniques you learn can be applied to your own pages, and soon, you'll be getting TONS more photos scrapbooked quickly and easily. Take EITHER or BOTH classes at class time. $8 PER class. Stay and crop until 2:30!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #141

Crafting, oh how I have missed you! The past month has been a chaotic and difficult one for my family so I haven't been crafting. Not a good thing for me since crafting is my therapy and stress relief!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge was my inspiration and well, I struggled with this one, but love the way it turned out!

Using the new Charlotte paper and the stamps of the month, Beloved Bouquet, worked perfectly!

The flower is stamped with Pomegranate and the leaf with Fern, both newer colors, and then the outline with Black!

They were then fussy cut with our fabulous Non- Stick Microtip Scissors.

The branches were stamped with Cashmere.

To hide a small boo boo, I added the retired grey sequins from the Oceanside Sequins.

In addition to the Atlantic Heart Sketch Challenge, I also entered this in the Crafty Chicks- Crazy Egg, Anything Goes Challenge.

Please join us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge and share your inspiration for the sketch below!
