Love Him

I made this layout a while ago and I am not sure I ever posted it on my blog but I want to post it regardless.

We have had a tough start to school and issues with one of our littles that has cause a lot of adult stress.  Hy husband has been so awesome through all of it, including getting a kitten, sleeping with the little, helping me make a weighted blanket and more!  So this is partially to say thanks for all that but also just to recognize that he is awesome all the time!

The paper is retired Avonlea and the Grey Rub-ons are also retired Velvet Rub-ons that are so cool!  The words were cut on my Cricut with Artbooking and Artiste.  The little  stickers on the top that say love are retired, i think they were typewriter stickers but I am not sure!

Big thing to me here is that I am using my stash!!!! I am sharing a story that I wouldn't have otherwise and My kids will know how much their daddy is loved!

How are you preserving your memories!?  It doesn't have to be fancy but storing those photos/memories on your devices could mean you never preserve them and they could be lost forever!

Want help preserving them!? Contact me and I will help you figure out your style of preserving your memories!

Create Kindness

This is National Stamping Month and Close to My Heart has created this fabulous kit to not only start stamping or keep stamping but to spread a little kindess which our world so seriously needs!

The Create Kindness card kit (CC1145) includes 24 pre-printed card bases with envelopes, 8 exclusive M-size stamp sets, a 2″ × 2″ My Acrylix® block, and an Archival Black mini pigment ink pad, all packed snugly in the My Acrylix® Mini Stamp Organizer for $46.95.

All components are sold separately and can be found here!

With my kit I decided to share how simple these cards are! So I have a good, better and best version of the cards!

Good- only using what is in the kit!
Better- The kit plus some markers to color with, or you could use our Watercolor pencils or Watercolor Paints!
Best! Using the markers again and adding an accent circle using cardstock and the Cricut plus Bitty Sparkles for a little bling!
There are more stamps that are great for inside sentiments or for stand alone cards! I just added a cardstock square and banner with a little shimmer trim and a super cute card that took no time to make!

I have designed a Best version for each card and I will have the materials to make them at my home until supplies run out or the end of September for sure!  If you purchase the whole kit you can make then the "Best" for free!  If you are not local I can send you the colors and a link to the Explore file for the circle accents after purchase of the kit!

How will you #CreateKindness with this kit?

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #177

The new Flower Market Cricut Cartridge inspired me to finally scrapbook this photo that has been floating around my scrapping table for a long time.

My favorite flower is Calla Lily and my hubby planted these for me in our front yard.  I was taking a photography class so I naturally took a picture!

When i realized there were Calla Lilies on the Flower Market Cartridge I set out to replicate the flowers in the photo in such a way to highlight the photo.  This sketch was perfect for what I wanted to do!

I took the Sketch and made it square to accommodate my scrapbook page and put the photo where the sentiment went!  The flowers were Pixie, Cotton Candy and the retired Creme Brûlée cardstock with the edges inked with Cotton Candy. The stems are New England Ivy.

The only thing I wish I had done was add journaling but I am not sure how to do that without taking away form the photo!  What would you do?

Thank you for checking out my Atlantic Hearts Sketch and we would love for you to join us in this challenge!

The Everything ABC Blog Hop - Letter S

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter S.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever  the crafter has chosen as their S element will be featured in their post.

If you came from Lauren Moore then you're on the right track!

I have been so busy that I haven't gotten to play along recently!  So this is a layout that I have had done for a while!  I am excited to be back with an oldie but goodie!  Sarita paper and the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge made this and easy layout!

My mother taught my girls to make tortillas from Scratch.  Including a tiny one!

I also really love Scrapping my Stash, this was leftover paper from a retired paper pack!

Your next stop on our Everything ABC'S Blog Hop is Catherine Nowak. A complete list can be found on Catherine Nowak's blog!
