Layout Challenge Week #14

My daughter, Lora was determined that she could get her cousin off the stairs where he seemed to like it so much!  She snuggled with him, talked to him and never gave up!  David was such a cutie but he wasn't convinced by Lora!

I used a layout from them Magic how-to book called Parlor trick! The how-to book have really changed how I do scrapbooking and taken much of the stress out of it.  I chose a layout based on the number of pictures I have and it tells you which papers to use and and how to cut them!  Now that I have been using them a while, it is easier to look at sketches or pages with out measurements and reproduce them!  The sad part is they are no longer going to be sold by Close to My Heart after July and some have already sold out!  Check them out here!

For this layout I used a retired special paper and ribbon. I can't wait to see what you have created! Join me in my weekly challenge!

Layout Challenge Week #13

Dreamin' paper was one of my favorite paper packs from the last Idea Book!  I am almost out of it too!  I used leftover Stickease as embellishments and the Art Philosophy shape on the left has the date on it and was left from the cards I made for our sitter!

If you can't tell from the pictures my boys had a little adventure with the scissors!  Micah cut both his hair and his brother's hair!  We are waiting to get it "fixed".  Joshua's hair took about 3 months to recover!  Oh the adventures of childhood!  This was Joshua's second trip for repairs...his big sister helped the first time with his new hairdo!  Hopefully we are done with this kind of adventure!

What creations are you coming up with this week?  Share it below!

Layout Challenge Week 12

My sweet Lora frequently gets overlooked in the hubbub of our crazy house so periodically we have taken her out of special dates to reward her for things like good behavior at school!  She loves to go to Jason's Deli!

I used Wings paper and a pewter embellishment around the title!  I am doing a good job using up retired stuff!  I am trying to work through the piles of stuff I have!

So what have you created this week!?

Layout Challenge Week 11

Sorry I am so late this week!  The link will stay open for a week!
I have a new love affair with Pinterest!  That is where I found this layout!

I used the Wings Paper pack which is retired and the Vineyard Berry Grosgrain ribbon which is also  retired!

My kids fight over the bowl when I make cookies so I make them.   This time I made them get in line for licks out of the bowl!  It worked really well!  Looked hilarious though!

Layout Challenge Week #10

My children love opening presents, it makes for horrible pictures on birthdays and Christmas!  They crowd around anyone who is opening presents and smother them!  I managed to get a few good shots though!  It really is cute how they excited they are!

So I used the Zippidee Paper pack on this one!  Love that paper and it is still available on Studio J!  The Workshop on the Go layout for this paper worked perfect for my pictures, so I just changed up the paper and added the strip of paper accros the bottom!  It seem like it needs a little more but my brain was too tired to figure it out so it is done for now!

What did you come up with this week!?
