Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!
For this hop we will be featuring the letter G. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their G element will be featured in their post.
If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at Amber's blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy
Big G, little g, what begins with G?
I had a tough time figuring out what I wanted to do for G! Glitter, girls, grandparents, gems, ...what to do!? Then I saw my card with gears and the layout I had done with gears and I knew that was it!
The gears are so boy and easy to cut with the Cricut Artiste cartridge. There are multiple different gears ( most on pg. 38-39 of the Artiste book) and with the Cricut they can be different sizes and papers making them look totally different!
This card is so fun for a party invite! The inside has the word party on it! I used the Later Sk8er paper and black button assortment for the embellishments on the gears!
The picture below are of a layout done with Later Sk8r and I used the Green and Blue Epoxy Bubbles , Outdoor Denim Bakers Twine , and Later Sk8r Stickease to embellish the gears cut on the cricut! I also stamped some of the images using the Fast and Furious stamp set.
These groupings of gears were used on these pages that I created based on the Idea Book layouts on pgs. 44 and 47.
Here is the complete lineup in case you get lost along the way:
1. Amber La Mons ~ Scrapper's Therapy
2. Theodora Diamantopoulos-Stacey~ Celebrate Crafts
3. Shelly Nemitz ~ Just One Piece
4. Lucy Kelleher ~ Love 2 Create
5. Linda Norman ~ Scrappy Therapy
6. Kathy Johnson ~ Kathy's Creative Corner
Later Sk8r is one of my faves! Love the gears!
