K is for Kissing! ABC BLog Hop

Welcome to the Everything ABC's Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter K.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever the crafter has chosen as their K element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning  at Amber's  blog ~ Scrapper's Therapy

If you came from Amber La Mons then you're on the right track!

Almost immediately I thought of kissing when I thought of the letter K and scrapbooking/stamping!  I first did it a few years ago on a title for a Halloween layout, I wanted it to look creepy and it worked so well!

Recently, I made this layout out of our trip to New York last summer.  The paper is some left from my pre-CTMH days, before I knew better!
It  was ok but needed a title and some pizzaz!  This is where the Kissing comes in!
I inked up the first letter of my title, S with Sky ink.
And the wave stamp from the Surf's Up Workshop On the Go inked with Lagoon ink.
Then I put the S face up on the table and carefully stamped the wave stamp on the S stamp.  Be careful not to slip because it is slippery!
Because my stamp I was kissing with was small and my stamp I was kissing was big I had to stamp it several times on the S, reinking each time!
This is what it looked like all inked up!
And after I stamped it!  Cool huh!  I was thrilled with the outcome!
Here is the N with the inked side up!
The S is the after kissing stamp and the Z and the wave are in their "natural" form.
Here is the finished product!  I inked the edges with Lagoon and added a few splashes to finish it off!
I just love the end product! Stickers would not have been this cute!

Stamp Kissing is not complicated and can even be simpler than I used for this! This video from Tresa Black  is what I used for inspiration!  She also has several other kinds of kissing of varying difficulty! Hope you enjoyed this presentation of the letter K!
