Using my stash is my goal these days and this was a challenge in a group I was in and I dug out the paper I thought of for the color of the shirt on the left.  It is the retired Dotty paper that I am still using up the small bits of.  I also mentioned in my last post that I pulled several paper packs that I was going to use for cards.  The pink paper came from it and the back of the paper is the light green paper so Used most of the rest of the pack on this page!

I love the way this came out!  I also used our new Black cardstock that is really black and doesn't show fingerprints like our old paper did!

Close to Heart is also having a Cardstock Carnival special this month where all the cardstock is on sale!

I'm back! Using up your stash!

Earlier this year I pulled several paper packs from my stash that were nearly gone.  I knew there was enough that I wouldn't trash it but not enough to do a lot with it.  Setting them aside to do cards when I had time, I kind of forgot them.
Recently, I was doing a challenge that required an embossing folder so I immediately thought of quilts and the cards I have made before with embossing folders! I also remembered those scraps and how perfect they would look on a "quilted" card.

This is what resulted from that inspiration for using an embossing folder!  I used the retired Zoe paper and stickers.
The really funny thing is I was making all theses squares to use on a card and was inspired to make a page with all of them instead!  I used the Make It From Your Heart Volume 1 layout on page 12!  I love how it turned out and GUESS what- yep, there are NO more scraps!  I even used a significant amount of the coordinating stickers!

I also found the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge Blog is to use 2 or more Patterned papers and these were all Perfect!
